They say that you should marry someone who wants to leave as early (or late) for the airport as you do. After spending six weeks together working in Germany and using every weekend to explore a new city in Europe, we learned that we were pretty compatible travelers. Once we came home to Charlotte and rejoined the "real world," we realized that we weren't just great travel partners, but that there was a budding romance under the surface as well. Tim tried yoga for the first time and Stefanie put on a pair of waders and went fly fishing in the mountains. We realized that we had plenty in common, but complemented each other so well that it must be meant to be. On April 14, 2018 Tim googled "how to propose" and followed the steps to perfection. Down on one knee on the front porch of our home, he asked Stefanie to spend the rest of her life with him, and she said "is this real?!" We are so excited to share our special day with you; let the celebrations begin!
